2006 Other Ford Models the smell of coolant

we had the engine flushed and the coolant replaced about 1 1/2 yr.ago,when I fill the coolant to the cold level it always goes back to the lower level (lower than full when cold) no noticeable leaks,no white smoke.a couple of passengers said there was a faint smell of coolant

Hi there,

best to get a cooling system pressure test done, you may have a minor external leak, the pressure test will show this up.
