I hear a sloshing sound at times when stopping my Ford Five Hundred. What could be causing this?

I'm sure you've either found the problem or it is gone by now, but my 500 holds water inside the rear doors after heavy rains. The gasket on the bottom of the door is over the drain holes preventing the door from draining properly.
