The fuse for the back up lamps keeps blowing and I'm not sure exactly what to check.
Do I need to check the switch or is that after the fuse? Is there any common area on these vehicles that is prone to a short?

Try checking the switch connector at the tranny, it's the one on the shifter.

Becuase if it's blows becauase the reverse lights come on, that switch turns them on.
