2000 Other Ford Models Front Wheel Drive Manual 10,445 miles

A mechanic says the alternator of my car is overcharged. It reads 16volts during starting ignition.

What will be the problem if this will continuosly happen?

Hi there ,

You run the risk of doing damage to engine management computers, blowing globes, cooking instruments, fuel pump and this will boil the battery dry, get it fixed before it starts to cost serious $$$$
