Heater problem
1998 Other Ford Model s Engine Size unknown Two Wheel Drive Manual 81,000 miles

My heater/fan only operates when set to the highest setting i.e. position 4

When I try 1,2,or 3 nothing happens

As you are unable to advise required information re model etc, this makes it a bit hard. But i would be checking the fan switch for continuity and if fitted a fan speed resistor block.
