why is water used in a radiator
wont oil be better,
i deal with oil all the time and have loads
my car works well just thought wont it be a treat for my car to have it oiled cooled like the jet engines,

Well you raise an interesting point, as I have worked in the aviation industry as well I can well see your point, but to start with the water pump fitted to your car will not pump oil, and jet engines are also highly dependent on air cooling as well, the design of the automotive internal combustion engine will not cope with oil cooling, what you will find it that the oil will over heat and it will not be able to expel the built up heat with out bulky oil coolers, if you have ever seen the size of some of the aviation oil coolers you will understand. So I am sorry but you will have to run with the pack on this one and trust good old H2O.

Might have something to do with water vs oil pumps, different designs!
