Engine Mechanical problem
1995 Other Ford Models Manual 54,000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
When I am driving the car it not giving me the power it should I have been told that the Clutch is slipping, I will give you an example when I am pulling away from a junction on a slight incline the engine revs and we dont seem to go very quick. I have to make sure there is not anything coming for quite a stretch as it takes me time to get going!!

Is it a hard job to fix it it is the clutch slipping?

I cant be too specific since you didnt say what model car you have, but regardless the trans has to come out of the car,the flywheel has to come off the engine and sent out to be machined so the clutch has a good surface to mate with. On a rear wheel drive car this is fairly easy, on a front wheel drive sometimes the entire engine cradle (frame) has to be removed to get the trans out
