1989 Other Ford Models V8 Two Wheel Drive Manual

I have a Ford 1989 F450 super duty truck with a 7.3 diesel engine I am having a fuel problem fuel is not reaching the fuel pump the truck has duel tanks the diverter valve I think is not working is there any way to by pass it?

you can disconnect one tank by disconnecting the fuel selector switch and run a small line to the tank you want to use.
