How to remove and replace an alternater?

Hi there,

AS you have not advised model or engine, i can only give a general view, Remove battery cable from Battery, Back off adjuster bolt & alternator pivot bolt and remove drive belt. undo loom plug and main feed wire at rear of alternator, remove mounting bolts and with draw.
