This will depend on how over full the engine was and how long it was run like this, a bit of blue smoke on start up is normally a sign of worn valve stem seals and valve guides, make sue that the oil is the correct weight, 10W, 15W, 20W for your car, a lighter oil will leak past faulty seals more readily as well.
