1983 Other Ford Models Burst radiator

The radiator on my Capri burst as a result of overheating. I have replaced the radiator but the water is now foaming up in it. There is no oil in the water and vice versa, but does this mean the head gasket has gone?

It is possible. Have the cooling system chemical tested for exhaust gasses. This isnt 100% but it is pretty close.
