The aforementioned vehicle,'69 Ford Fairlane, has been in one family since it rolled off of the assembly line. It was my dads car and he gave it to me before his death. I have had it repainted, reupholstered and added new sound system. It has factory air power disc front brakes, etc. etc. Can I upgrade my alternator from a 70 amp. to 100 amp without any other changes? Your help would be appreciated.

Thank you
John

There is no problem with upgrading from 70 to 100 amp. If you are still running through a voltage regulator you might want to get one with a internal regulator. There are now available reproduction one wire hook ups.
