I just got my car back from my mechanic for repair to my suspension system. The day I picked up the car, I drove it home and put it in park only to have my car continue to roll forward with a slight clicking sound. Also,I can barely get it in low gear if at all. I have a 62 Ford Falcon. They replaced the shocks, installed new ball joints and fixed all the suspension. This was not happening when I took th car in. Thank you. Glenn Gustafik-Seattle Wa

The shift linkage of mis-aligned. Have the mechanic adjust the linkage. Right now when you put it in park it is not in all the way and that is the clicking you hear when it moves and not locking in park.
