smell like gas

my car is a 96 ford mustang with over a 100 and something thousand miles. It is a V6. When it is running it smells like gas. The man that change my oil said it smelled like it from under the hood. so what may my problem be

is the smell coming for exhaust under the hood or is it more of a raw gas smell? does the car run pourly? with not much info to go on. i'am going to have to say you have a bad pressure regulateror you have some bad injector O'rings at the fuel rail.NOS 8)

could be a couple of things. fuel leakage, check all connections. charcoal canister in evaporative emissions control system clogged or vapor leaks from evaporatice control system lines.
