Heat coming inside the car

I have a 1989 GT Mustang 5.0 hatchback and where my ash tray is and my emergency brake is I have a lot of heat coming through also my stick gets really hot can anybody help me??

Depending on the car, small hoses are sometimes used to route the heat around to the various ducts and doors, or plastic ducting could be used... possibly something is out of place.. also heat is piped to the back seat flooring area, check under the dash you may have to remove a panel or two to get a good look
