2008 Ford Mustang Whinning sound

High pitched whine heard throughout range of gears. When shifting, the roms jump up about 300 but drop to normal a second later.

Possible Throw out bearing. Try to drive by some and see if they can roughly pinpoint the noise area.
front rear, left right etc.

A set of chassis ears my be very helpful to narrow down the noise source.
