i just came back from iraq and my car was sitting up for a full year when i came back i tried to start my car and it would not start not even with a jump. so i bought a new battery and my car only started once with out a jump so i let it run for 10mins and it just turned off.
can i have some help

Make sure the fround connection to the engine block is clean and tight.
