THE SPEED ODOMETER IN MY 2005 MUSTANG WAS WORKING ERRATICALLY. NOW IT HAS STOPPED WORKING ALL TOGETHER AND IS SITTING PAST THE HIGHEST SPEED. CAN THE SPEED ODOMETER BE FIXED, IS IT A DYI JOB OR DOES THE ENTIRE INSTRUMENT PANEL HAVE TO BE REPLACED?

I have the same probllem except its my tach thats not working. I understand Ford has a problem with the instrument clusters but has not issued a recall. perhaps they need a little pressure. By the way how hard is it to replace the instrument cluster.
