2004 Ford Mustang Will Not Hold a charge

My car will not start. I can jump it, and it will take a charge. I can drive it, but once I turn it off, it will not re-start.
When running, the voltmeter indicates the system is charging.
While it is running, electrical devices like the radio will "cut in and out". Sometime just the rear speakers cut out, then come back.
The battery still has a "green" dot to indicate it is OK.

I would still check the battery, it could be just under by a tenth of a volt and still indicate that the battery is good but not be able to hold that full charge and not be enough to turn your car over, also you may want to check connections , to the starter ,battery posts etc. for corrosion, that will suck the life out of the battery and also let it take a jump but not be able to turn your vehicle over by itself
