2004 Ford Mustang V8 Two Wheel Drive Manual 65.000 miles

I have a 2004 Mustang Gt with a T45 tranny that needs new shift forks installed, Im looking for a write up or workshop manual with directions but haveing trouble finding any info, any replies appreciated Thanks!

Hi twinttgt, thank you for the donation. There were three mannul transmissions that came in the 04 gt, t-56, t-50d, and tr-3650. I can give you exploded views of those transmissions. Try and find out which one you have and let me know. Good Luck.

Thanks for the reply, tho the car is an 04 it has a t45 tranny in it, I think who ever had it before hand replaced the transmission with an older 99 unit. Ive found some views and from what ive seen the entire transmission needs to be dissasembled to repair the forks.

Ok I see, Well I do have some info on that trans and replacing shift forks in it. The transmission does have to come out of the vehicle to replace the shift forks. Let me know if you want the info on replacing shift forks in that.

Sure if you dont mind ill take a look at what you have and compare it to what ive found, I was mostly concerned about having the remove most of the componets from inside the transmission to replace the forks and its looking like thats what will have to be done to compete the job. Thanks again for your time and BTW sorry for the low donation amount this was my first post and I wasnt sure if anyone would really give me any info, so I appreciate your reply and will do better next time LOL.
