2002 Ford Mustang Manual
----------------------------------------------------------------
i just changed the spark plugs in my car and i did them one at a time so i know that the wires are not crossed but when i started the car it sounded like it was working to hard. not really sputtering but like it just was trying really hard not to miss or something. and it smoked a little bit so i took them out to check them and two of them were burned a little where the wires connect to the plug. do i need to replace the wires and the plugs? and if so what went wrong?

The plug wire may not have been seated and arced to plug causing the black and the running
Make sure the connector on those wires is good and fits tight. Also the use on a dielectric silicone will help get a good connection.
