2002 Ford Mustang not engaging

Air Conditioning problem
2002 Ford Mustang 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

Starting last week - No AC, the "clutch"? trys to engage - clicks and spins 5 seconds then stops, it will keep trying but I just run vent for now to prevent any unknown damage. Is it the clutch or the whole compressor?

If the clutch is engaging the compressor and compressor is not coming on its locked-up
