I have a P0113 Error code on my 2002 Mustang GT involving the air intake sensor. The car computer is revving the engine to over 2000 rpms in park and won't reduce. The computer is indicating that the incoming air is too hot, IAT, intake air temperature error, causing the engine to rev high. Worked just fine until I stressed the engine in autocrossing the car today. After one run, the engine idle stayed high and wouldn't reduce down, whether in park, idling or in drive, 2000 rpms at standstill. Hose is fine. Is this as simple as replacing a Mass Airflow Intake sensor? How can I tell if replacing the sensor is the answer? Thanks!
