I can't figure out how to remove the batter. I have disconnected the neg/pos terminals, but what is holding it in?

It is either a bracket across the top of the battery and it will have two long j bolts that holds the battery in place, Remove the nuts from the bolts lift off the bracket and you should be able to remove the battery. Be careful not the spill th acid or get any on your clothes.

I wish it was the bracket, that is what I am used to! It's a box kind of thing, with a bolt on it. It is sitting in top of the lip on the bottom of the battery.

Remove the bolt in plastic block and the block will come out, then you can remove the battery.
