How much will it be to have oil pan gasket repaired by a professional? And would you recommend dyi?

If you only have basic mechanic tools then I do not recommend you try this repair on your own. It requires loosening and raising the engine assembly in which case you must use an engine support tool. An estimate is below for having your vehicle's oil pan gasket replaced.
