My car recently had the radiator light come on, so i checked coolant and nothing changed and kept driving it but then noticed it was alittle hot, so i got out and opened the hood while it was running and the radiator fan isnt running even while its hot, what would cause that light to come on right when i start my car, even while its cold, and also cause the fan to not work?

check radiator fan fuse and relay. if OK then suspect faulty engine coolant temp. (ECT) sensor
