I HAVE A 2000 MUSTANG AND IT IS LEAKING ANTIFREEZE AND I would like to know why?

Where is said antifreeze coming from on the vehicle?

Cant tell you whats wrong if I dont know where its coming from!

THE CAR HAD STEAM COMING FROM UNDER THE HOOD, AND WHEN I LIFTED IT I HEARD SOMETHING DRIPPING ON TO THE GROUND SO I LOOKED UNDER THE CAR AND IT WAS ANTIFREEZE. I TOOK IT TO A SHOP AND THEY BY PASSED THE HEATER CORE SO I COULD DRIVE THE CAR TO WORK UNTIL I CAN GET IT FIXED. I JUST DONT THINK IT SHOULD COST $1100 TO FIX.

The heater core is leaking or did they bypass a leaking hose?
