1999 Ford Mustang 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

i have a 1999 ford mustang v6 and my windshield wipers started going on their own do i have a shorted switch or loose wire or windshield motor problem? thanks

most likely cause is the switch. check for loose or damaged wires at the switch and if all is good replace switch, wiper motor rarely fails.
