My neighbor helped jumped my car after a night with the headlights left one (my fault) and he mixed up the cables causing a spark and smoke. When we hooked it back up right the car started right up but now the speedometer, odometer, dome lights, radio/cd player, and power door locks don't work. All the fuses look good and there are no other problems with the car. It doesn't look like a relay connects them all. What is the common factor here? What needs to be checked/fixed/replaced?

Have you had any luck on this? My son has the same problem with his '98 mustang. Radio, speedometer, odometer, dome lights, power locks don't work.
