how do i replace the front disc pads on a 1998 mustang?

remove the two mounting pins, one at the top, other at the bottom of the caliper, take cap off master and just let it sit on top of it, then push the piston back into the bore, use either large channel lock pliers, or a "C" clap large enough to do the job, but place a used pad against the piston if using the C clamp, you dont want to break the piston, isntal is reverse proceedure, once the calipers are re-mounted, put master cyl cover back on, then slowly pump the pedal until firm. this pushes the pistons out and seats the pads against the rotor.
