Engine Performance problem
1998 Ford Mustang 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

Once my car stopped at a light it wouldn't go in drive without seemingly warming up to it. However, it does go in reverse easily. It took me an hour in traffic because I couldn't get any speed. Once the car started to go, it ran okay, but once it stopped, back to the slow start again.

Is this an engine problem or a transmission problem?
