Transmission problem
1996 Ford Mustang V8 Two Wheel Drive 159000 miles

Being an older car with a lot of miles on it, my car seems to go through its fluids frequently. A big problem I have mainly is parking alongside a gutter. There is always a puddle of transmission fluid when I leave. However, when I park on flat ground or on an elevated driveway, both facing up or backed in, it does not leak. How do I solve this problem?

Hi there ,

would be starting with the transmission Pan gasket. don't re tighten it, replace it.
