Which speed sensor are you talking about the transmission or the vehicle speed sensor.

The tranny speed sensor is located at left side of transmision, the VSS is at the left rear of the tranny couldn't make out the pic.

I'm not sure about it. My speedometer does not work sometimes and I was told that it could be the speed sensor. I wasn't told which one. This pic has been taken from under the car on the driver's side and the drive shaft passes right beside.
I drew some arrows where the drive shaft passes. It's not on the pic but it's right where the pic cuts.
Hope it helps you.

Thanks.

Thanks again for your help. So I have to undo that piece and change it? And what does the cluster looks like and do you have a clue where it is?

Thanks for your help!

Yes just remove that one screw and pull it out carefully. Possibly will leak a bit of oil so be careful. Also to save money just go to a junk yard and look for a car with ur same engine and automatic maybe a taurus thuntherbird etc and count the teeth on the speed sensor as long as it has same number of teeth it will work. First try the speed sensor. The cluster is in front of u in your dash where u read the speed and the gas oil pressure etc. When the speedometer on cluster doesnt work its better to change the whole cluster. If u dont know how to work on it just take it to a elctrical auto shop and they will tell u what u need. Good luck
