if a vacuum leak goes unattended for a couple days and the car is driven minimally, (maybe ten minutes a day for three days) could that cause more problems since the vacuum leak wasn't fixed?

If it is driven very little , it probably wont hurt anything. It may set a check engine light due to the lean mixture
