1991 Ford Mustang V8 RWD Automatic 86000 miles
I USED TO LIVE IN THE BAY AREA, I RECENTLY MOVED TO RENO, NV WICH IS A HIGH ALTITUDE. IVE BEEN HAVING OVERHEATING PROBLEMS I FIXED IT BUT NOW THIS. I WAS DRIVING IT HARD FROM A RED LIGHT, QUICKLY THE CAR OVERHEATED I CAN SMELL ANTIFREEZE AND SMOKE WAS COMING THROUGH THE VENTS OF THE CAR AND WATER SQUIRTING OUT THE BOTTOM OF THE PASSENGER SIDE. THE NEXT DAY I DROVE IT FOR A MILE OR TWO THE CAR DROVE STRONG AND THE CAR DID NOT OVERHEAT BUT IM LOOSING COOLENT BUT FROM WHERE I DONT KNOW. IM AFRAID ITS A BLOWN HEAD GASKET.I CHECKED ALL MY HOSES AND LOOKED FOR WATER IN THE OIL AND DID NOT FIND ANYTHING. WHAT CAN IT BE HEATER CORE, WATER PUMP, THERMOSTAT? OR IS IT A BLOWN HEAD GASKET? CAN SOMEONE PLEESE LET ME KNOW. THANXX
