I have a fast thudding sound coming from the driverside front wheel well my steerign wheel does not vibrate its just that noise. I crawled under the car an i saw that the pinion on the same wheel well is bent could this be the problem? The noise occurs in both high speed and low speed...

Hi there,

You should have the pressure tested with a master gauge, Hot idle is the reading that will be critical. Also check max pressure this will give a fair indication as to the relief valve operation. You will not be able to gauge bearing condition as this will also have a big part in maintaining good oil pressure. Get some reading s done and re post.
