1988 Ford Mustang V8 Automatic 130,00 miles

I HAVE A 1988 FORD MUSTANG 5.0 302HO I CHANGED THE TRANS WITH AN OLDER AOD BUT THE LINKAGE IS OPP. AND 3RD AND 4TH IT FEELS LIKE IT IS MISSING BUT THE ENGINE RUNS STRONG THE TRANS WORKED GOOD IN THE OTHER MUSTANG ?

make sure the vacuum if it has it is hooked up and not leaking and that the throttle pressure cable if you have one is adjusted correctly.

like i said if you have them as you may not. the throttle cable should be plainly visible coming out of the transmission and the vacuum line will go to a modulater if you have it which is usually on the back of the transmission on the pass. side.
