I just had my 87 mustang gt's timing done. i was on the highway the other day and the car died. I tried starting it up and for the first couple cranks it would not. finally it started but while driving it was hesitating like it did not want to move. I got off of the ramp and she died again, this time she would not turn over and she was backfiring out of the intake. had it towed home and tried to start it the next day. it started but now idles hi then low like it wants to shut off. need an answer please. btw it is fuel injected

Has the check engine light come on? Also, have you checked the timing making sure it isn't too far advanced? Is the distributor tight?
