I have an exhaust lifter that has worn on the bottom side to the shape of the cam lobe. All lifters were replaced new about 200 miles ago. I have not pulled the cam, but it doesn't feel worn. Heads have also been reworked about 200 miles ago. Should I pull the cam and head for inspection or just replace lifters?

Thanks,

If the lifters are new and they are worn to the shape of the cam lobe -- with 200 miles on them -- then you probably have an oilling issue. Wear that soon is not good...I suggest removing the cam - inspect cam bearings for oil starvation. Replace with a hydraulic ROLLER cam and lifter set.
