I own a 1966 Mustang 289 2v 3 speed manual that was fully restored including engine rebuild back in 02. Lately when I drive it anywhere it runs fine for a few miles and then looses maybe 75% power. It doesn't stall, but will run this way sometimes for 2-5 minutes. Out of the blue it will return to normal like nothing is wrong. I'm affraid to drive it in fear of doing damage, or breaking down. I have replaced the battery new, replaced all 8 plugs and wires new, rotor and distrubutor cap new, and also have replaced the fuel filter new. Everything I have done has not worked. All I seem to be doing is throwing my money away trouble-shooting. I am a witts end and was hoping someone might be able to help me solve my mysterious disappearing power. I have cash for the right help. Thank You.
