Hi,

I would like to know what is the part number for the shoe retracting assist spring that goes on the front brakes. This spring can go with all fairlane & falcon, Comet & mustang 8 cylinder. I looked up the name on my Shop Manual from Ford Motor Company.

Thanks[img:866dc4ed1f]http://www.2carpros.com/forum/automotive_pictures/334152_IMG_4046_1.jpg[/img:866dc4ed1f]

Your best bet would be to call the dealer and see if it is still available from Ford directly. They usually quit making/selling parts like this due to the large aftermarket availability. Sometimes restoration shops will have a few of the OE parts laying around.Try these guys..... Larry's Thunderbird and Mustang Parts, www.larrystbird.com
