2002 Ford Mondeo What is making the noise

2002 Ford Mondeo 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

After driving for about 10 miles, the car starts to make a very loud squeaking/chirping noise.
This noise stops when the breaks are applied.
What could be casing it?
