2002 Ford Mondeo 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

MY CAR IS A 2LT DESIEL TDCI AND WAS DRIVEN THROUGH A FLOOD WHEN IT STOPPED AFTER A SHORT WHILE IT STARTED AND DROVE AND STILL DOES TICKS OVER NORMAL CHANGED ALL FILTERS OIL ETC BUT WHEN YOU NOW PUT FOOT DOWN THERE IS A SHORT CLATTING FROM THE ENGINE BUT NOT ALL THE TIME ANY IDEAS THANKS JASON

i suspect you may have sucked water into the catalytic convertor you really need to have your mechanic test drive the vehicle so he can here the sound .. he can then pinpoint the fault ..
