Hi there,
change the oil & filter and use a good quality engine oil flush, re fill with 20W-50, NOT SYNTHETIC and see how you go.

Thanks Mark.
I will give that a go. But what do you think I need to do about burning the oil Is changing the valve seals the best option or a new engine what do you think
Thanks again John

Hi John,
This may be a case of wrong oil for the condition of your engine, i would do the oil change and see how you go over the next few weeks, drop me a line here with your consumption / smoking results and we will then look at your best options.
