2000 Ford Mondeo seat belt

i have put my back seats down to fit a tumble dryer in boot but now that i have returned my seat to their proper possition my middle 3 point seat belt no longer extends to be used
my childs car seat sits here so i need this belt to work
how can i fix this

start by checking it is not trapped .. or replace to belt
