1999 Ford Mondeo Front Wheel Drive Manual 95000 miles

hi, my car is slow catching up to my accelerator, ie, when i rev to pull off, not much really happens so i have to put more acceleration than normal then the car just takes of and carries on going without any acceleration at all, i have been told this may be a faulty electrical throttle plate sensor, is this so, and if so how can i tell, is there a way do distinguish between normal and electrical throttle plate. thankyou

Hi there,

The first thing to do is have a scan done to check for any set fault codes, fix any problems there first.
