Replaced my thermoastat yesterday, ran the car twice, the fan is kicking in and the temp gauge remains in the centre, however the is condensation at the top of the coolant tank and its bubling in the cornera tiny bit is this normal for a ten year old car, can you help please

is there any oil mixed with the coolant or coolant mixed in the engine oil ? if so then your head gasket is damaged. if not then your vehicle is OK at this time.

I drained the coolant but it was completely clear.
