1999 Ford Mondeo 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

hi my mondeo td has white smoke coming out of exhaust and occasionally whilst driving it judders as thou it has lost power for a second then got it back. causes?

i have changed the fuel filter and this has not helped

White smoke out of the exhaust is an indication of coolant burning in the cylinders-are you overheating?

no car not overheating, temp guage on about 1/3. oil is fine, not milky and so is water

Check the oil if its mixed with gasoline-also check if you have a vacuum modulator on the transmission if so check the vacuum hose for transmission fluid and also the brake vacuum hose
