Heater problem

my heater does not work i have bought the thermostat but still no hope

Check heater system hoses and core for coolant flow..locate the 2 hoses that go through firewall in engine compartment to the heater unit in the passenger compartment .. run engine to normal operating temp .. turn heater on full heat and full blow .. then check BOTH the pipes/hoses in engine compartment are getting hot, if not you have a blockage in the heater core and it needs flushing out ...let me know
