1978 Ford LTD ignition switch

i am trying to replace my 1978 ford ltd II ignition switch and I have everything taken apart except I cant get the switxch it self out of the caseing
i was wondering maybe if i have to drill the pin on the acullay switch to get it out

if you have taeknt the top off the steering column that is the iginition lock not the switch. the switch is on the lower part of the steering column beneath the dash. if you have the key and are trying to get the lock out then put the key in pu tit on accesssory and push the pin in and pull the lockout. The switch is held in by bolts but you'll need to unplug the connector first.
